Lesson 1
Invite the child to the work with you. Choose your work area. Bring the Presentation Tray to the work area. Begin by removing one of the blue shapes and placing it in the empty spot either above or below it. Give the child a moment to look and realize that the space left and the shape removed are the same. Do this with each shape in the tray. Now hold the first shape by its knob with your non dominant hand. With your dominant hand, use your first two fingers to trace around the edge of the shape. Then trace around the space left by the removed shape using your first two fingers again. Pick up the shape by the knob and place it back in the original spot. Do this for each shape.

Lesson 2
This lesson is given the same way as Lesson 1 only the names are introduced as the shapes are introduced.
