The Third Color Tablet Box Tertiary Colors
Invite the child to work with you. Take the Tertiary Color Box off the shelf and carry it to the work area. Take out the 7 tablets of the color you will be working with and lay them out on the table. Ask the child to find the darkest shade. Place the tablet with the darkest shade to the left in front of you and the child. Ask the child to choose the next tablet. Ask the child is this tablet darker or lighter than the first tablet. Have the child place the tablet in the spot to the left or right of the first tablet depending on their answer. Have the child continue choosing tablets and placing them until all the tablets have been placed in order from darkest to lightest. Choose the next color you will work with and take it out of the box. Continue with this color and the others in the same fashion as the first until all the colors have been laid out from darkest to lightest.
