Arts and Literature have been integral to Indian culture for thousands of years. We make our own yogurt, learn the art of Mehndi, and learn about the music of India.
Wednesday's Lesson Plan
The mysticism and religious beliefs of the Indian people and to the beauty and uniqueness of this culture. We learn a little about the meaning of the Lotus Flower, we make a Buddha temple, and learn a little about reincarnation and snake charming. We also make our own gingerale!
Thursday's Lesson Plan
Indias vast jungles provide homes for many of the world most exotic and beautiful animals. Tigers, lions, elephants, monkeys, baboons, and cobra snakes, to name just a few. We learn about sacred cows and the ancient art of batik.
Friday's Lesson Plan
The Taj Mahal is one of the seven wonders of the world. We spend time learning about this fantastic building, and experience some unique science experiments like making gingerale and mandalas.
