Monday's Lesson Plan
On Monday we look at China's unique and fantastic landscape, sometimes referred to as the "three steps." We make a dramatic diorama and do Chinese landscape painting. We learn about Chinese silk making, and play traditional Chinese games.

Tuesday's Lesson Plan
On Tuesday we experience the beautiful art and culture of ancient China. We learn about Chinese music and dance, and perform the Chinese tea ceremony. We learn about porcelain and make our own tea cups.

Wednesday's Lesson Plan
The focus of Wednesday's lesson is about Chinese writing and philosophy. We learn calligraphy, and create our own dragons (a auspicious sign of good luck!) We learn from Buddha's teachings by playing a game of Buddha Whispers.

Thursday's Lesson Plan
On Thursday we look at China's unique animals, especially the panda bear! We also make a Dancing Lion Puppet and our own abacus.

Friday's Lesson Plan
The Great Wall of China is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. We spent Friday examining Ancient Chinese Architecture. We build our own "great" wall, and finish our tea cups.
